iCare Panel is an online community of people focused on the issues and needs of those caring for older loved ones, who would like to share their opinions, take part in activities - surveys, polls and discussions - and earn great rewards for it. We are excited to hear what you have to say! iCare panel is powered by Toluna.

To be eligible to participate in the iCare Panel, you will need to complete an initial short survey. We'll ask you some questions to see if you qualify and also some demographic questions to help us classify your answers. Once this survey has been completed we will send you a confirmation email. You must click on the link in the confirmation email in order to begin receiving surveys and earning great rewards. To begin, simply click on the Join Us page.

No. Participation is free. In fact, you will earn rewards for your participation.

If you forget your password, click on LOGIN button at the top of the page; then click on the 'Forgot password?' link; enter your email address, enter the code, and click 'Set a new password'. You will receive an email to set a new password.

For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. The community research will be conducted on the Web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the Website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the community website under the "My Surveys" page. You can take surveys from a computer, cell phone or tablet.

On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new Quick Polls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.

You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.

When you first log in to the community, you will see your new activities with links to each of them. You can also go directly to the "My Surveys" or "My Discussions" pages.

You can find our Quick Polls on the "Home" page, but you do have to log in to vote. Simply choose a response and click the "Vote" button. Once you have completed the poll, you will be able to see the current results.

Go to the "My Discussions" page and select category "Latest Topic". Once you're on the category page, click on a discussion you'd like to join. Click "Reply, "Reply with quote" or "Quick Reply" to add a comment.

Click the "Attach Files" button at the bottom left of the "Discussion" window and select the image you'd like to add.

Yes, community members can opt-out by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the website to cancel their membership. Alternatively, members can submit a request via the Contact Us form or send an email to support@icarepanel.com with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.

As a member of the iCare Panel, you may receive different types of compensation depending on the type of research you participate in. For most surveys and activities, you will be awarded points that can be redeemed for gift certificates online after you have accumulated a minimum number of points. Our invitation for each survey or other activity will state the compensation.

Some of our activities allow you to earn a specified number of points.

You can collect points for each of the activities in the Community you participate in:

  • Quick Polls – 10 points*.
  • 5-15 minute Surveys – 75 - 150 points*.
  • Discussion Boards – 25 points per post (Based on quality & frequency of participation; up to 5 posts a month)*.
  • Other activities – we will let you know how many points you can earn when we invite you to special activities.

*Note, points value may change based on iCare Panel member feedback and participation rates. We'll always let you know when this happens.

You can see your points and account balance on the "My Rewards" Page and can select to redeem them for a variety of gift cards from there.

To redeem your points, simply select the "Redeem" button found on the "Rewards" page. You can also view your accumulated points online on the same page. Click here to view the full Terms & Conditions.

There is no limit to the number of points you can earn.

Yes, reward points will expire after 18 months.

We collect some personal data about each member for a number of reasons:

  • It enables us to contact you about research (i.e. surveys, discussion forums and/ or poll questions) you can take part in.
  • It enables us to contact you with surveys that are specifically relevant to you and your lifestyle.
  • It helps us to analyze the survey data by different categories such as gender, age or the region members live in.

Don't worry – it will not be possible for any individual respondent to be identified from the results. Your responses will be combined with all other members and will only be used for research purposes
